Bull Tailor began with a simple frustration: wallets that looked good on day one and fell apart by the end of the year. Thick folds, plastic linings, stitching that unravelled.

So we started making our own — cut, skived, and stitched on a single workbench, tested in real pockets before anything reached a shelf. What worked became our first collection. What didn't, we remade until it did.

HOW THEY'RE MADE

Full-grain leather, cut to last

We use vegetable-tanned, full-grain hides — the top layer of the leather, with the grain left intact so it ages into a deep patina instead of peeling. Edges are hand-burnished and painted in thin layers. Seams are lockstitched so a single cut thread can't run.

Every wallet is checked by hand before it's boxed. Small batches, no shortcuts.

A few things people ask before their first Bull Tailor wallet.

Designed in-house and made in small batches by our workshop team, using vegetable-tanned full-grain leather sourced from established tanneries.

Full-grain, vegetable-tanned hides. It's the most durable part of the leather and develops a natural patina with use rather than cracking or flaking.

A little. For the first week or two the leather is firm; with daily handling it softens and moulds to your cards and pocket.
